Cousins and Cats

This is a picture I took of my cousin as she and the cat followed me around all day. I know that the picture is grainy and it isn’t the best technically, but I really love her expression. The look of happiness on her face is what really makes this picture for me. It really captures her personality.

I took the picture with my Nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens. It was later in the afternoon and getting darker which is why my ISO is a lot higher than I would like it to be. I still really like the picture though.

Football 1

This is a picture that I took for my photojournalism class. It was my first go at photographing football. I loved it. It was so fun. I loved shooting baseball too so I figured I would like this also. For this picture I used the Canon EOS1 MARK IV with a 300mm lens. It was the first time I used the camera and I really liked it too. The picture is of the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (red) and the Concord First Assembly Eagles (blue) during their first game of the season. I’m really happy with how the pictures came out.
