Farmer's Market

This is a picture I took for my Photojournalism class. I needed a picture ‘out in the world’ and I needed captions to accompany it. ‘Gary Harris sells homemade food at Asheboro’s Downtown Farmer’s Market. Mr. Harris and his wife have been selling at the Farmer’s Market for the past five years to keep busy during retirement. (Photo by Kristi Craven)’

I liked, for the most part, how the picture turned out and I loved meeting Mr. Harris. He is a very nice man. This picture was taken on my Nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens. It was taken at ISO 252 at 1/1000@ f/4 around 11:00 AM.
