This
is one of two images of glass that I took for my product lighting class. It’s a
photograph of a bright field lit glass. The way I took this bright field
picture was I set up a white background a little ways behind the glass. I then
put two black boards on either side of the glass. I then lit only the
background (I used two Tungsten hot lights) and made sure that none of the
light hit the glass, otherwise it would leave a glare. I thought it was fun to
do. It’s a very cool but simple technique for photographing glass.
