This
is the second of two images of glass that I took for my product lighting class.
It’s a photograph of a dark field lit glass. This image was made by setting up
a white background. I then set up a gobo on a Matthews stand directly behind
the glass and in front of the white background so that the black just filled
the frame. I then lit only the white background, which caused a white rim
effect on the glass. I found this one a little harder to do than the bright
field picture but I like the effect and outcome of the dark field better. It’s
more dramatic.
